at the Tannery 2nd Weekend

This year we are again holding the Powderhounds Team Dinner at the Tannery. Last year it was a huge
success, with over thirty Hounds & Friends turning out for the affair.

|
|
Things are all setup, thanks to the efforts of Angie Riggs. As it stands, the dinner starts at
7:15pm with food being served near 7:30pm. Like last year the club has arraigned for the food and
simple beverages, you are all responsible for your own Alcoholic beverages. We have reserved the TOP
FLOOR of the Tannery (With the Foos Table)… So while your waiting for food… you can Foos…

The best Race weekend of the year is fast approaching. Searchmont is in EARLY February This year. As
in past years there will be a Super G on Friday, and Slalom on Saturday & a Giant Slalom on
Sunday. Thursday there will be practice courses available, and a Preview run of the Super G course
for Elite Racers ONLY.

A few words for planning: Get a place to stay ASAP. I have reserved TWO Places AT Searchmont. One is
a Condo and the other is Villa #1 (Same as we had last year). Both will house between 4 & 6
Racers (8) if you really want to save $$, however you’ll be sleeping on Cots, or what ever you
bring.

I need Commitments for who wants to stay in the Condo & Villa ASAP. I’d appreciate Money
Upfront as I’ve put up over $1000 to secure both of them.

Although the actual cost is dependent on the # of people who stay, the way we do things is. We Tell
Searchmont that we ONLY Have 4 people staying per unit. They charge us for 4 people, and provide 4
sets of tickets. (We put 2 or more Extras in) and prorate things based on purchasing the other
tickets.

|
|
Bring 2 Picture IDs. A Passport is best, Also a Birth Certificate if you don’t have 2 Picture IDs.
